A Historic Initiative
The Spain–US Biotech Fund represents the first time a sovereign government has launched and seeded a biotechnology investment initiative specifically designed around the Boston and Massachusetts ecosystem. Recognizing Boston and Massachusetts' unique global leadership position, the Government of Spain, through ICEX, launched this initiative in partnership with Dreavent and Richi LifeSciences to establish a permanent bridge between two highly complementary innovation economies.
